A letter written by R. A. Fitzpatrick, an employee of the Great Northern Railway Company, to Sister M. Paul, Winona, Minnesota, describing railroad operations in the St. Vincent area in the early 1900s. He also describes his acquaintance with James J. Hill and his son Walter, and their farms at Humboldt and Northcote in Kittson County, Minnesota.
